Jul 17, 2008 / ENERGY GLOBE Award
Submission deadline is Monday
Traunkirchen, Austria – Sensational status in this year’s submissions for Energy Globe Awards: projects from 80 nations are already contending for the world’s most prominent energy prize. From all parts of the world, companies, institutions, schools, research institutes, etc. are participating: from Azerbaijan to Iran, Japan, Vietnam to Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa to Mexico and North and South America Nord. Naturally Europe is well represented, especially by Austria.
“As our experience over the past years has shown, shortly before the deadline we receive up to 20 projects a day,” commented Energy Globe founder Wolfgang Neumann on the global esteem for his brainchild, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary next year.
The submissions to date are full of pleasant surprises: the activities range from high-tech projects with solar, wind and water to clever applications such as a solar-driven wheel chair and on to wide-ranging programs on environmental consciousness.
Until July 21 projects can be submitted that conserve resources such as energy or that utilize renewable or emission-free energy forms. To utilize the opportunity, submit your project electronically via contact@energyglobe.info or per the postal system to: Energy Globe, Mühlbach 7, A-4801 Traunkirchen, Austria.
